15th Season!

Join us for the very special launch of Kaleiodscope Night’s 15th season, on Wednesday 6th March, 8pm at the Sugar Club followed by a trip to Wicklow on Thursday 7th March, 8pm to the beautiful gem that is The Whale Theatre with some truly exceptional musicians.

Described as “one of the glories of contemporary jazz” (Jazz Journal) Norma Winstone MBE is a multi-award winning vocalist who has enjoyed a career spanning more than 50 years. Norma will be keeping fine company for these concerts, she will be joined by long-time collaborator, friend and master jazz guitarist Tommy Halferty as well as composer and pianist Nikki Iles “A formidable UK jazz presence” – (Guardian ) for the Dublin gig and seasoned UK bassist Steve Watts will join Tommy and Norma for the for the Wicklow gig.

A varied programme will be presented including a newly commissioned work by Tommy Halferty in collaboration with Norma Winstone, songs of Peter Warlock, Paul Simon, Jimmy Rowles and of course a few musical treats along the way.
